The man at the helms of affairs at the gateway state, prince dapo abiodun has promised to reconstruct the deplorable Siun-Owode road in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area due to its importance to the development of the state
Speaking after inspecting the new Gateway City Gate along Sagamu Interchange in Obafemi/Owode Local Government Area, Governor Abiodun said the road from Ofada to Mowe would also receive government attention.
According to him as the current administration is rebranding thes State to suite its status as the industrial capital of Nigeria. government will continue to do more to attract large number of investors to the state.
The governor higlighted that the beautification of the Gateway City Gate is part of his efforts to provide the needed ambience for those who chose to reside and do business in the state
He added that 600 housing units constructed at Kobape area of the local Council was part of the 1000 units targetted to construct in less than two years of his administration.
In their remarks, residents of the areas visited, appreciated the State Government for attending to the road which were in very bad shape for a long time, saying with the construction, it will lessen their plight and improve on the socio-economic activities in the areas.
