Team Ogun this Friday clinched two gold medals in Badminton and Para Athletics to continue its slow but steady exploit at the ongoing National Sports Festival in Edo State.
Dorcas Adesokan delivered the Badminton Gold at the expense of Ruth Ebere from Edo State who settled for Silver.
Adesokan who is the highest rated female African player won the gold medal match in straight sets 21-14 22-20
Oluwakemi Oladipo in the T3 category of Wheelchair 100 meters event also struck a gold medal, while Dauda Aina won Silver in the T54 category.
In the female Badminton team event, team Ogun also won a silver as well as two bronze medals in the female doubles.
