The Ogun State Government has been advised to as a matter of urgency fully implement the 2016 staff audit report on the Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu-Ijebu which addresses some of the issues the institution is battling.
The chairman of the visitation panel set up by the government to look into the issues surrounding the crisis in the college, Professor Kamaldeen Balogun gave when the panel submitted it’s report and 33 recommendations to the Governor Dapo Abiodun.

According to Professor Balogun, the panel equally recommended that the activities of the unregistered coalition of Tai Solarin College of Education staff be stopped while the ban on activities of recognized unions be lifted for peace to return to the institution.
He also urged the government to consider the payment of three months salary to the staff of the school, thanking the Governor for giving members of the panel to carry out the assignment.
Meanwhile, Governor Abiodun, while receiving the report said government will look into the panel recommendation with the view to making relevant decision just as he lauded the panel for demonstrating patriotism and commitment in the prompt completion of the task.
