The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has called on relevant stakeholders to partner the Government in repositioning the state health sector.
Governor Abiodun made the call this thursday at the Redemption Camp on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Mr Governor explained that the committee recently set up by the current administration was part of its efforts to look into challenges in the sector with the view to finding lasting solutions to them.
He said good governance can only be achieved when people are healthy.
Reiterating the commitment of government to promoting qualitative health care delivery, Prince Abiodun said the task of improving the health sector in the state is a collective responsibility.
He therefore called for the private sector investment in the sector as government has created a veritable avenue for such investments to thrive through the implementation of relevant policies and programmes.
