OGUN GOVERNMENT TO FORWARD AMOTEKUN BILL TO HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY

The Ogun State Government has concluded the arrangement to send a bill to the State House of Assembly to establish the state security network agency.

The bill according to the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Akingbolahan Adeniran is expected to be transmitted to the house of assembly for deliberations before the end of the week.

Mr Adeniran who made this known on Tuesday while briefing newsmen at the end of the state executive council meeting held at the Exco Chamber, Oke-Mosan explained that the agency would comprise Amotekun Corps aimed at strengthening the security architecture within the state and its environs.

While describing the meeting as robust, the Attorney General informed that the executive council also discussed road maps for the ministry of works and infrastructure and housing towards achieving infrastructural development across the state.
