The authorities in Ogun State have reassured of commitment to free education in all public primary and secondary school in the state.
The Governor ,Prince Dapo Abiodun who reiterated this in Abeokuta pledged that the anomaly recently observed with regard to a purported P.T.A levies in some public school, is already being done away with, saying that free education in all government primary and secondary schools in the state is not negotiable.
According to Mr Governor, the current administration is committed to fulfilling all the promises made to the people during the political campaign.
While observing that the state has the largest number of higher institutions and primary schools in the country, Prince Abiodun explained that sadly, the performances of students in the state have declined in internal and external examinations, promising a turn-round in the shortest time possible.
