The minister of labour and employment, DR Chris Ngige gave the assurance in Lagos.
The minister said the welfare of workers remains a cardinal objective of the current administration as the federal government understands the key role that workers play in national development.
According to him, the effective implementation of government policies and programmes depends on the vibrancy of the workforce.
