GOVERNOR ABIODUN RENEWS COMMITMENT TO GOOD GOVERNANCE.

The current administration in Ogun State has renewed it’s commitment to ensuring an inclusive government for the benefit of the people.

Governor Dapo Abiodun gave the assurance on Saturday at the funeral for Chief Theophilus Otesanya at the Methodist Church Nigeria in Irolu-Remo.

Governor Abiodun explained that his victory at the poll was an act of God that could be appropriated through the enthronement of qualitative governance.

He emphasized that his covenant with God and the people of the state was to institute a governance that will be just transparent, equitable, accountable and follow the rule of law.

Describing the deceased as a man of honor and a good Christian who lived a purposeful life, he Governor observed that his present status as a politician and victory at the pole was as a result of the support he received from the deceased.

While admonishing people to be helpful to others he charged them to live a worthy life that they will be remembered for when they are no more.

In his sermon, the former Bishop Diocese of Remo circuit Bishop Gboyega Owu advise people to always remember that there is judgement after death.

Bishop Owu described the late Babajo of the Methodist Church Nigeria as a philanthropist who contributed to the life of people in Irolu-Remo, saying that the church will continue to remember him for his support to the church and ministers of God.
