Ogun State Government is passionate about formal and informal education.
It is a view of this that the current administration is planning to convert the unused Model Colleges across the state for vocational training centers and ICT development training centers.
The deputy Governor, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele made this known while playing host to the industrial training funds ITF Abeokuta area office.
She said the government is concerned about the sector, informing that the welfare and training of the teachers as well as adequate provision of teaching aids and conducive learning environment would be the target of the current administration.
Earlier, the ITF area Manager, Mrs Funmi Coker said the Federal Government Establishment is out to encourage capacity building in all States of the Federation and promote the acquisition of skills especially among the youth.
