Ogunkunle Isau has won a gold in the Men singles class 4, Para Table Tennis event at the ongoing 20th National Sports Festival in Edo State.
The Para-table tennis national champion who has picked the ticket to represent Nigeria at next Summer’s Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan defeated Chinedu Nick of Delta State 3-1 to take team Ogun’s Gold medal haul to 14 at the ongoing multi sports event.
With the development, Team Ogun has now won 14 gold, 15 silver and 34 bronze medals.
The gateway state team is In a good shape to finish in a respectable position at the festival, Ogun State has already surpassed its exploit at the last National Sports Festival in Abuja, 2018
