The Ogun state governor, Prince Dapo abiodunĀ midweek signed the amended 2020 appropriation bill of #280.907 billion into law
Receiving the appropriation bill from members of ogun state house of assembly led by its speaker, rt honourable olakunle oluomo at the exco chamber,, okemosan in Abeokuta, governor abiodun thanked the lawmakers for expedite action in passing the amended appropriation bill into law within two weeks it was forwarded to the house
Describing the relationship between the executive and the lawmakers as symbiotic, the governor submitted that the lawmakers have been working for the development of the state without party affiliation in line with the vision of the current administration of building the future of the state together
The governor assured that government would do its best in working with the budget by focusing on important areas like the health sector and other developmental projects as the pandemic has exposed how fragile the health sector is presently
Earlier on, the speaker of the house, rt honourable olakunle oluomo said the lawmakers came to see the governor to present the amended 2020 appropriation bill already passed by the house for his ascent into law
