The nation’s model station, OGBC,will continue to compete favorably in the broadcast industry,courtesy of the state government in
the procurement of 80kva automatic voltage regulator .
The AGM, Programs Services,Mrs Toyin Sogbesan while presenting budget performance of the station before the house Committee on information and strategy, expressed appreciation over the support by the governor,prince Dapo Abiodun since the inception of the current administration.
She said the kind gesture in approving the implementation of new minimum wage for workers in the state has demonstrated his passion for the entire work force.
Mrs. Sogbesan emphasized that as part of the efforts of the management to regain lost glory of the station,the corporation now stream its programmes on web.
The AGM however informed that the station needs two more digital studio equipment to sustain and improve the FM channel
signal,operational vehicles as well as outside broadcast equipment.
Earlier,the General Manager, OGTV,Mr Festus Kehinde listed educating and enlightenment of members of the public on dangers of the Corona virus pandemic, acquisition of four new digital cameras as some of its achievements.
