PEOPLE HAVE SHOWERED ENCOMIUMS ON AN ACE OGBC YORUBA POET AND BROADCASTER AS HE BOWS OUT OF SERVICE

A Retired Director Programmes Services of the nation’s model station, Dr Bunmi Ayelaagbe has been described as a dedicated, loyal and a core professional who is passionate about the growth and success of his workplace.

Speaking this midweek at a send-forth organised by the corporation The Assistant General Manager Programmes Services Mrs Toyin Sogbesan, The Assistant General Manager, Administration and Finance, Mrs Ronke Adeyemi and The Assistant General Manager Credit Control Ms Bolanle Kareem stated that Dr Ayelaagbe retired as a radio personality who used his stay at OGBC to impact lives of many people.

On their part, The Assistant General Manager Marketing Mr Gbenga Omotunde, the Head of Marketing Alhaja Bola Ojediran, The Director of News and Current Affairs Mr Niyi Amusan as well as the Director of Engineering Services, Engineer Femi Adeyanju and the Director of Programmes Services Mr Gbenga Osindele informed that Mr Ayelaagbe is a unique broadcaster.

In his remarks, The General Manager Ogun State Television Bashorun Festus Kehinde said the retiree carved a niche for himself adding that the Egbas are proud of his style of poetry which is an offshoot of the legendary egba indigene, Sobo Arobiodu poetry.

Speaking in like manner, a retired permanent secretary TPL Deji Megbope and the retiree childhood friend Venerable Adesiji Adegboyega said that OGBC will continue to be a reference point in the broadcast industry just as they described Dr Ayelaagbe as stricker for standard.

While urging the ace broadcaster to be closer to God, they urged the members of staff to be united and make the fear of God their watchword.

Responding, Dr Ayelaagbe was full of praises to God for sparing his life just as he dedicated his success in life to those that mentored him to greatness and discovered his God given talent.
