The Governor Dapo Abiodun administration in Ogun State has affirmed its commitment to develop the human capital of its workforce, which is key to the overall achievement of the ‘’Building our Future Together’’ mantra.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Information, Mrs. Modele Sarafa-Yusuf made this known while on facility tour of Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC) and Ogun State Printing Corporation.

Mrs. Sarafa-Yusuf said, “one thing the Governor genuinely wants, is to invest in the human capital development of the people”, revealing that training and retraining is the way to go.

Speaking on content, the Special Adviser charged the station to do more of human angle stories to connect with the people, noting that, this would keep the people glued to the station.

She enjoined the agencies to brace up in their deliveries, so that they can enjoy more patronage, while assuring of government’s intervention in addressing some major challenges confronting them.

Earlier in his remark, the General Manager, Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, Mr. Diji Akinhanmi thanked the team for the visit, expressing hope that the station would enjoy more of government’s benefits, for optimal performance.

The Special Adviser was accompanied by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Kunle Somorin, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Strategy, Mr. Abiodun Awere and the Consultant on Media, Mrs. Yinka Ogundimu.

The team also inspected an Emergency Call Centre on Leme road,  Abeokuta, in charge of cases such as armed robbery, fire outbreak, building collapse, with the emergency number 112, calling on the general public to make use of the services in case of any emergency.
