The current administration in Ogun State is to explore all available means to create awareness as well as instill the culture of tree planting in residents.
It will also make available tree seedlings to the people, through the established channels of government.
The wife of the Governor, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun stated this at the 2019 tree planting and environment day, organized by Ilisan Club,Remo.
According to Mrs Abiodun, planting of trees in compounds and adjoining streets is important to enhance habitation and improve livelihood
