A versatile journalist and erudite scholar, Dr Demolu Okuneye will on Tuesday 30th January, deliver the 4th ‘Diji Akinhanmi Memorial Lecture’ on the topic: ‘The Role of Journalism In Promoting National Image and Development’
The fourth in the series of the Lecture holds at the Auditorium, Iwe Iroyin House, Oke-ilewo, Abeokuta at 11 a.m, with the Chairman, Ogun State Civil Service Commission, Engineer Tokunbo Odebunmi as the Chairman of the occasion. The Special Adviser to the Governor on Information and Communication Strategy, Honourable Akinmade is the Special Guest of Honour.
According to a statement by the Chairman Organising Committee, Mr Niyi Amusan, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Strategy, Alhaji Waheed Adesina and Chief Executive Officer, Rockcity FM, Dr Niran Malaolu are Guests of Honour while the Towulade of Akinale, Oba Olufemi Ogunleye is the Royal Father of the day
The management of OGBC instituted the lecture in memory of the immediate past General Manager, Mr Diji Akinhanmi who joined the saints triumphant on the 16th of January, 2020.
