The Ogun State governor Prince dapo Abiodun has commended the judiciary for its efforts in advancing democracy in the country
Governor Abiodun gave the commendation this Friday while fielding questions from newsmen at the presidential lodge, Abeokuta, while reacting to the judgement of the appellant court delivered in lagos
The governor explained that the judiciary, through the judgement, has reaffirmed his victory at the March 18 governorship election in the state as earlier confirmed by the ogun state governorship election petition tribunal few months ago
The governor assured that the judgement would serve as an impetus in delivering more dividend of democracy to the people of the state in the area of health, education, agriculture, infrastructural amenities as encapsulated in the ISEYA mantra of the current administration adding that his government would also consolidate on the good foundation already laid during his first term towards enhancing the development of the state
Thanking members of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, APC for their support, the governor commended the people of the state for entrusting their mandate on him promising that he would not let them down
The first citizen of the state urged members of the opposition party to join hands with his government in building the future of the state together
