OGUN TREASURY BOARD MEETING ENDS WITH A CALL ON MDA’s TO KEEP PLAYING NEEDED ROLES IN SOCIO- ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE STATE.

The Ogun State Treasury Board Meeting on the year 2024-2026 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and the 2024 budget has ended.

At the meeting on Thursday in Abeokuta,, Heads of Ministries and Agencies reviewed their budget performance for the 2023 fiscal year as well as presented the budget proposals for next year.

Breakdowns of figures comprising the proposed Internally generated revenue, personnel and overhead costs under the current expenditure as well as capital costs and expenditure projected in the 2024 budgets of various MDAs were analysed at the meeting with the commissioners and agency heads explaining how they intended achieving the budget goals.

In a remark at the end of the treasury board meeting, the Deputy Governor, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele thanked the participants for their commitment to the success of the much important meeting and advised them to make adjustments in identified portions of the budget proposals

She also urged them to continue to play their roles and join hands with governor Dapo Abiodun towards repositioning the state socio-economically for the benefit of all

Ministries of Industry, Trade and investment, Culture and Tourism , Agriculture, Forestry, Sports Development,  Bureau of Information and Communication Technology, Board of Internal Revenue among others


made presentations at the financial exercise.
