The ogun State governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has reaffirmed that the public private partnership, PPP initiative of the current administration, is a validation of his bond with the private sector.
Governor Abiodun made the remark on Saturday while fielding questions from newsmen after the inspection of ongoing housing projects at President Muhammadu Buhari Estate along Abeokuta-kobape Road in Abeokuta.
The current administration, according to the governor, is committed to the implementation of legacy projects that will make the state stand out among the comity of states in the country
Mr governor explained that it is in furtherance of this agenda that the present government deemed it fit to turn around the President Muhammadu Buhari estate which has for many years suffered neglect as a result of a legal tussle between the last administration and the contractor formerly handling the project.
While inspecting the Project, Governor Abiodun who expressed satisfaction over the job done by the contractor stated that the estate was handed over to private investors to ensure that it sees the light of the day promising that the estate would be provided with the necessary facilities to make it befitting of the status of a state capital.
The first citizen of the gateway state while urging members of the public to subscribe to the projects informed that the citizens of the state home and abroad have signified intention to be part of the success story saying the estate is another banana island in Ogun state
