The Senate believes that the most of the challenges in the Nation’s health sector are traceable to the inadequacies in the Primary Health Care delivery in the country.
The Lawmaker therefore on Thursday passed a motion to increase the budgetary allocation for the Management of Primary Health Care.
According to Senator Oluremi Tinubu who moved the motion available indicators from the World Bank survey showed that lack of drugs,equipment and vaccines which are the direct result of inadequate funding were not the root cause of the low performance of Primary Health Care in the Country.
