The Ogun state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has charged the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries and Special Adviser, to unite the various departments in which they would head, in line with the administration’s “Building our future together” agenda, in order to bring the desired development to the state’s workforce and citizenry
Governor Abiodun gave the charge this midweek at the swearing in ceremony of five Permanent Secretaries and a Special Adviser at Oke Mosan, Abeokuta
Governor abiodun explained that the current administration since inception has placed the civil service in high premium being the engine room of the state development stressing that government would continue to promote professionalism by ensuring that appointment is based on merit
Urging them to see the appointment as a call to service, mr governor informed that the newly appointed public office holders were selected from a pool of competent directors across the various ministeries in the civil service as their selection was based on hardwork, zeal and dedication to service among others.
The first citizen of the gateway state called on the spouses of the appointees to, continue to give them the necessary support in carrying out their duties as according to him, they are standard bearers that are meant to interface between the Government and the citizens of the state.
The new appointees are; Dr Mrs Elemide Olayinka, Mr Adewuyi Adesoji,Engineer Salami Sakirudeen, Mr Towolawi Adesina and Mr Hamid Morakinyo Ojo while Mrs Ayotunde Olabinwoninu Okupe, was sworn in as the Special Adviser on Women Affairs.
