The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila has invited some top government functionaries to a meeting with a view to resolving the ongoing Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU) strike
He made this known after a meeting held behind closed doors between the leadership of the House and ASUU on Tuesday.
Those invited are the
Accountant- General of the Federation, the Director-General of the National Information and Technology Develolment Agency ( NITDA) and his counterpart in the National Salaries, Income and Wages Commission.
He said that the government officials are to appear on Thursday to finalise the negitiation for the onward presentation of the agreement to Mr. President for approval and implementation.
