YEWA Monarchs Endorse Dapo Abiodun For Second Term

Traditional rulers in Yewa/Aworiland of Ogun state this midweek threw their weight behind the second term bid of governor Dapo Abiodun.

The monarchs under the aegis of Trusted Royal Fathers in Yewa/ Aworiland converged on the palace of the Abepa of Joga Orile in Yewa North local government, Oba Adeyemi Adekeye,where they expressed their support for the governor’s re-election next year.

Addressing the gathering,Oba Adekeye noted that endorsing governor Abiodun for another tenure in office is crucial,given the achievements of his administration across the state in the last three years.

Also speaking, the Eselu of Iselu, Oba Akintunde Akinyemi said although there is the need for more infrastructural projects in Yewa/Awori,the feats recorded by the current administration in the land have prompted the traditional rulers in the axis to pass a vote of confidence on the governor.

In their remarks, the Onigbejo of Igbejo,Oba Sunday Adelakun, Olodan of Odan Abuja-Sule, Oba Nosiru Ayinla and the Olulu of Ijofiland, Oba Moroof Awode all gave kudos to governor Abiodun for making the overall development of the Yewa/Aworiland and the entire state, a priority,urging him to intensify efforts on road infrastructure in the land.
