The man at the helm of affairs at the gateway state, Prince Dapo Abiodun has been commended for the ongoing massive infrastructural development across the state
The National Librarian and Chief Executive Officer of the National Library of Nigeria, Professor. Chinwe Anunobi gave the commendation in Abeokuta when she paid a courtesy call on the governor in his office
Professor Anunobi noted that the level of work done by the present administration on the Sagamu-Abeokuta road is of high quality and highly commendable.
The National Librarian who informed that she was in the state to thank the governor for being very passionate about education and the development of library service in the state, expressed joy at the strategic location the state government gave to the National Library for the construction of a branch of the library in the state capital.
In his remarks, Governor Abiodun who thanked the national Librarian for the words of commendation explained that his administration is delighted with the construction of the National Library in the state capital, stating that the choice of the location was to ensure the accessibility to the library.
Governor Abiodun informed his visitor that the current administration is presently using technology to drive it’s educational sector and revenue generation through the harmonisation of revenues and taxes, as well as being able to block leakages.
He added that technology has also made it easy for his administration to improve on the education as students in the state now have a Learner Identification Numbers which makes it easy to track the records of sll students.
