The Federal Government has reiterated its commitment to tackling insecurity confronting the country.
The Chief of Defense Staff, General Lucky Irabor gave the assurance at the weekend in Abuja.
He however called for better collaboration to tackle insecurity, urging the people to always be ready to provide information or intelligence to security operatives.
According to him, it is only when information or intelligence is provided that immediate action can be taken by security personnel.
General Irabor also urged retired senior security offices to support the armed forces by educating the citizens on the need to always support the military to achieve peace and stability in the country.
