OGUN DEPUTY GOVERNOR IDENTIFIES WITH CHILDREN AS SHE TURNS 56

The Ogun State Deputy Governor,Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele believes that birthday as an annual celebration is a period to count one’s blessings as well as identify with the less privileged in the society.

According to the Deputy Governor, being around chidren is more fulfilling as she clocks 56 this Saturday.

Engineer Salako-Oyedele alongside her mother, Alhaja Ramat Salako, the commissioner for Forestry, Honourable Tunji Akinosi among other well wishers was at the Ijamido Children’s Home, Ota for the birthday celebration.

The celebrant who was welcomed by the children and staff of the Home amidst singing and dancing expressed commitment to giving to the cause of children and youths through cash and kind for their capacity building.

In a remark, the Executive Secretary of the Ijamido Children’s Home, Mrs. Stella Willoughby-Amos thanked the Deputy Governor for choosing to celebrate her birthday with the children of the Home, wishing her many happy returns of the day.

Highlights of the visit include the cutting of the cake by the birthday girl with the children as well as the presentation of a giant size deep freezer,cash as well as food items to the Home..
