The Ogun State government has been advised to take another look at the Olokola Free Trade Zone project with a view to committing more resources to reposition it towards boosting the state’s economy.
The team Leader of the National Working Committee on Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTA) , Mr. Babafemi Lawal gave the advice after a visit to Olokola Free Trade Zone on Monday.
According to him, the project is an asset which the state government needs to revisit.
Mr. Lawal said that the committee members are in the state to sensitise stakeholders as well as visit the site of some infrastructure that will enable the county benefit maximally from participating in the African Continental Free Trade Agreement ( AfCTA).
