Meanwhile, it was jubilation galore this Tuesday, as workers at the Ogun State seat of government in Okemosan, Abeokuta expressed joy over the elevation of some
Directors to the position of Permanent Secretaries in the state Civil Service.
The Civil Servants on hearing the cheering news trooped out in large numbers from their offices and applauding Governor Dapo Abiodun for the the his action, which according to them will promote professionalism in the Public service.
Those at the state Ministry of Information and Strategy, were all out to celebrate their own, Mr Kehinde Onasanya while workers at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology also did same for Mr Johnson Odeyemi
who was elevated from the position of Director to becoming a Permanent Secretary in the Service.
Staff reporter Olajumoke Onafowora who was at the Governor’s office, Okemosan, Abeokuta informed that the situation is the same at the other Ministries where Permanent Secretaries emerged, as many of the workers were heard saying that the concerned individuals deserved the honour.
