The current administration in Ogun State is committed to making life more bearable for the masses as the Covid-19 pandemic ravages the world.
It has therefore renewed the assurance of reaching out to the poor and vulnerable, the gradual ease of the lockdown in the state notwithstanding.
The Deputy Governor, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele stated this while receiving donations to cushion the effect of the pandemic from some private establishments in the state on Monday in Abeokuta.
Expressing appreciation that the Government has received generous donations from concerned individuals and the private sector. The State Covid-19 Task-force Chairperson assured that the government would put the donations to proper use.
Engineer Salako-Oyedele also commended the efforts of the medical team in the state for putting their expertise to use at this critical time, urging employers of labour to ensure that their staff are well protected against the disease.
