A bill entitled the traditional rulers, installation and burial rites law 2020 has passed the first reading on the floor of the house presided by the Speaker Right Honourable Olakunle Oluomo
The bill is expected to provide foe the preservation, protection and exercise by traditional rulers of their fundamental rights to be installed and buried according to their religion or belief
It was read for the first time by the Acting Clerk Mr Deji Adeyemo
Before scaling the first reading the speaker pledged to facilitate the legislation that would further strengthen the state traditional institutions promising that the hallowed chamber will continue to enact laws that would promote the council an the well being of the citizenry
