The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has commiserated with the victims of the fire incident that gutted the popular Sabo market in Sagamu early this Tuesday.
The Governor promised that all hands will be on deck to ensure that the various markets in the state are well protected against fire incidences.
Governor Abiodun gave the assurance this Tuesday while expecting the market alongside the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi for an on the spot assessment.
Governor Abiodun assured the victims of speedy intervention from his government, promising to liase with the State Emergency Management Agency, (SEMA) and market leaders towards providing some relief to cushion the effects of the losses.
The Governor while commending Oba Babatunde Ajayi for his quick intervention, advised the market men and women to avoid keeping inflammable materials like petrol and gas in their stores to avoid recurrence.
Governor Abiodun also thanked the Fire Services from Abeokuta, Ijebu-Ode and Babcock University for their swift responses.
