As condolences messages continue to pour in over the demise of the General Manager of Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, OGBC, Mr Diji Akinhanmi, the State Head of Service, Mrs Amope Chokor has described him as a highly respected and seasoned Professional, whose wealth of knowledge was legendary.
According to Mrs Chokor, in a condolence message to the family of the deceased, the late Mr Akinhanmi will remain a point of reference in the pursuit of excellence in media practice.
Similarly, the late General Manager of the State Broadcasting Corporation, Mr Diji Akinhanmi has been described as a thoroughbred professional who practiced the broadcast profession excellently.
The Ibadan zonal office Director of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) Mr Rapheal Akpan, who stated this in a condolence message, noted that the pen profession has lost a journalist of no mean repute.
On his part, the Deputy Inspector-General of Police (Operation) DIG Abdul Majid Ali in a condolence message issued by his Personal Assistant, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi said the death of the OGBC General Manager has created a vacuum in the media corridor of the State and Nigeria at large.
