GOVERNOR ABIODUN SWEARS IN CUSTOMARY COURT OF APPEAL PRESIDENT AND OTHER JUDGES.

The good governance currently being enjoyed in Ogun state has been attributed to the mutual relationship among the three arms of government.

The Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun made this known this Wednesday at the swearing-in of newly appointed President of the customary court of appeal and other high court judges at the Obas Complex, Oke Mosan in Abeokuta.

Governor Abiodun explained that the state has been enjoying uninterrupted dividends of democracy as a result of understanding among the people in government assuring that the current administration will continue to strength all the arms of government to foster a cordial relationship.

The governor while explaining what informed the appointment of the President of the customary court of appeal said that the law providing for the court had been passed since 2011 noting that with the appointment of the President and members of the customary court of appeal, the court is now fully established in the state.

He added that the appointment was a demonstration of the commitment of the current administration to bring justice closer to the people at the grassroots.

Congratulating theĀ  newly sworn-in Judges Governor Abiodun, charged them to remain faithful to the oath of their offices and dispense justice without fear or favor.

The governor commended the state chief Judge Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu for the noble role she has been playing as the head of the judicial arms of government assuring that his administration will continue to improve on the welfare of the judges.

Responding on behalf of the newly sworn in judges, the president of the state customary court of appeal Justice Mobolaji Ayodele Ojo assured that they will ensure effective justice delivery .
