The Ogun State Government has renewed commitment to teachers’ welfare, imploring them to exercise patience with the current administration as it actualizes set goals.
The Deputy Governor Engineer Noimot Salako Oyedele stated this while playing host to the sate wing of the Nigeria union of Teachers this Tuesday in her office, in Abeokuta.
Noting that Governor Dapo Abiodun is passionate about the welfare of teachers and school children, she said the Governor has started to actualize his campaign promises.
Engineer Noimot salako Oyedele who sought the support of teachers and other workforce, informed that the Government shares in the concerns of the teachers in terms of provision of infrastructure, working tools creation of conducive environment to teach.
Earlier, the NUT Chairman, Comrade Titilope Adebanjo applauded the Governor for the approval of the 2016 and 2017 teachers promotion imploring that he should take a step further by approving the 2018/2019 promotion as well.
