The Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele has described the late Senator Ayodeji Otegbola as an asset to Ogun West and the state at large, saying he will be missed by all.
Speaking during a condolence visit to the family of the Late lawmaker in Lagos this Friday, the deputy governor said the deceased lawmaker made great impact in his political space, his chosen career as well as in other spheres of life.
Engineer Salako-Oyedele who led a powerful delegation from Ota to the residence of the late Chief Otegbola, said he left legacies, stressing that he was a pride to the people of Awori land, Ogun West and the state in general.
According to her, Senator Otegbola had many loyalists and children beyond his biological ones among whom she is one, saying that despite the fact that he was no longer active in the political space, he remained revered and respected till he breathed his last.
She prayed Almighty God to grant him eternal rest and charged members of his immediate family to take solace in the fact that he led a good life filled with impactful moments just as she urged them to build on the legacies of their patriarch.
Responding on behalf of the family, Mr Adewale Otegbola appreciated the Deputy Governor for the visit, adding that the family will continue to uphold all that the deceased stood for in his lifetime.
Those in the entourage of the Deputy Governor included the Member Representing Ado-Odo/Ota in the House of Representatives, Honourable Tunji Akinosi, Hon. Jimoh Ojugbele and the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Chairman, Mr.Wasiu Lawal.#
