Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has lauded the Osile of Oke-Ona, Oba Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso, as an exemplary leader whose dedication to service and faith is worthy of emulation.
The governor made this remark at the 8th edition of Praise Unlimited, a special event held in Abeokuta to celebrate the monarch’s 87th birthday. He praised Oba Tejuoso for his unwavering commitment to spreading the gospel and positively impacting the lives of his people.
Represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, Governor Abiodun described the monarch’s journey as one filled with divine grace, emphasizing that his longevity and achievements are a testament to God’s mercy—worthy of celebration and thanksgiving.
Delivering a sermon at the event, Bishop Olakunle Akinremi highlighted the importance of service to God and humanity, stating that those who dedicate their lives to such causes will always enjoy divine blessings. He encouraged Oba Tejuoso to continue his philanthropic efforts, assuring him that his good deeds would be rewarded both in this world and the hereafter.
The event also featured soul-stirring gospel performances by various choirs, as well as special prayers for the nation, Ogun State, and the people of Egbaland.
