The Ogun State governor Prince Dapo Abiodun on Monday sworn in His Chief of Staff, Dr Toyin Taiwo, eight Special Advisers and four Permanent Secretaries with a charge to them to see their new appointments as a call to service in complementing the development agenda of the current administration
Speaking during the swearing-in held at the Exco Chamber, Governor’s Office, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun explained that the appointment was a new chapter in the lives of the appointees, informing them that their selection was as a result of their dedication to duties, competency, experience and unwavering commitment to the development of the state
The governor noted that the new appointees have served meritoriously in various capacities in which they have distinguished themselves.
Charging them to serve with honour and wisdom, Mr. Governor said the Ogun state public service is known for integrity, professionalism, and discipline, emphasising that the quality of any public service is determined by its workforce.
He informed that the newly sworn-in permanent Secretaries are distinguished professionals who have worked in various capacities, adding that their appointment was carried out with transparency to inject new ideas and strengthen the state’s public service.
Congratulating them, he urged them to make a difference in the system through their programs for the benefits of the people of the state.
Mr governor described His Chief of Staff, Dr Toyin Taiwo as a hardworking and diligent man who has contributed immensely to the achievement recorded by the current administration.
Responding on behalf of the appointees, Dr Toyin Taiwo thanked Governor Dapo Abiodun for the opportunity to serve the state promising that all the appointees would strive to work harder in supporting the current administration towards achieving its objectives.
