OGHA PASSES RESOLUTION CALLING ON OGUN STATE GOVERNMENT TO CONSIDER IMMEDIATE REVIVAL OF IPOKIA POLYTECHNIC.

The Ogun state house of Assembly this Thursday passed a resolution calling on the state government to consider the immediate revival and operational take off of the Ogun state Polytechnic,Ipokia.
The speaker,Rt hon Oludaisi Elemide who presided at the plenary charged the clerk Mr Sakiru Adebakin to forward clean copy to the governor for necessary action
Earlier the sponsor of the motion, assemblyman Bisi Oyedele, representing Ipokia/Idiiroko state constituency,said the institution,if revived will further enhance the socio economic development of the area and the state at large
He later moved the motion for the adoption of the report,seconded by assemblman Damilare bello and supported through voice vote
Lobby correspondent dele Ogunleye reports that other lawmakers including assemblymen Adegoke Adeyanju, Lookman Adeleye, Damilare bello, Wahab  Haruna Waliu Owode , Musefiu Lamidi as well as Yusuf Sheriff called on the state government to adequately fund the project as it will enhance technical and vocational skills of the youths just as it will promote entrepreneurship, encourage influx of foreign students to the area and subsequent economic prosperity of the people.
