DEPUTY GOVERNOR EULOGISES IGANMODE OTA CLUB MEMBERS FOR PROMOTING CULTURAL HERITAGE.

Members of Iganmode Club, Ota have been commended for upholding the values of the founding fathers by promoting the cultural heritage and enhancing the socio-economic development of the land in their activities.

The Deputy Governor, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele gave the commendation on Saturday at the 50th anniversary of the club, award presentation and five hundred million naira fund raising for the club multipurpose building.

The deputy governor described Iganmode Club as the premier indigenous club in Ota which has in the last 50 years been a symbol of the values of the sons and daughters of the land, pointing out that it is cheering that the vision of the 18 founding fathers of the club is still preserved.

According to Engineer Salako-Oyedele, Iganmode Club holds a unique place in the history of Ota and its environs, lauding the members for fostering unity and progress of Ota and Awori kingdom.

She Called on the club to pass the objectives of the club to next generations by mentoring young people capable of keeping the flag of the club flying.#
