The House of Assembly has passed the Moshood Abiola University of Science and Technology MAUSTECH amendment bill 2019.
This is coming barely two weeks after the bill was transmitted to the legislative arm by Governor Dapo Abiodun.
The passage of the bill was sequel to the presentation of the report of the Committee on Education,Science and Technology by it’s chairman,Assemblyman Ademuyiwa Adeyemi who thereafter moved the motion for it’s adoption.
The motion was seconded by member representing Ewekoro State Constituency, Assemblyman Yusuf Amosun and supported by the whole house through a voice at plenary presided over by the Speaker the Right Honorable Olakunle Oluomo.
The amendment partly seeks to revalidate MAPOLY law to ensure the return of smooth academic activities at the institution while all properties of the institution hitherto transferred to MAUSTECH be returned to MA
