It was a gathering of popular music acts, and broadcasters, as well as the movers and shakers of the society as the Maridon Hotel event centre tollgate Sango ota, celebrate Ace broadcaster Adewale Dada the good on his 30th year anniversary and music video album lunch on Sunday.
While appreciating the celebrant’s impact in the media world and entertainment industry, the Alake of Egba Land represented by Chief Oluyomi Olaogun explained that the Ace broadcaster has gone a long way in the media world, urging other broadcasters to emulate the moral and value depicted by Adewale Dada.
Also The olota of Otta,,Aworiland Oba Abdulkadir Obanlalege, represented by High Chief Osunlabu Bamgboye, described the celebrant as a hardworking broadcaster who sincerely enlightened and entertained people on radio and through his music, adding that the Ace broadcaster is a proud son of Ota Awori land whose impact will not be forgotten
Earlier in his welcome remark, the Chairman Planning Committee of the Anniversary, Bar Ajibade Ololade, hailed Wale Dada as a multi-talented broadcaster and musician who was highly trained by the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC). 30 Years Ago.
Bar Ajibade, also remarked that Wale Dada is a skilled and clever broadcaster who has set unrivalled records in his field, has educated a large number of broadcasters over the years.
On his part, the celebrant Mr Adewale Dada ,the Good thanked the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC) for recognising and cultivating his talent 30 years ago.
He stated further that the new album, Ireti Otun (renew hope), conveys a progressive message to the government and Nigerians, particularly given the president’s origins in the southwest.
The broadcaster reflects on his experience in the field and encourages aspiring broadcasters to persevere despite challenges, as hard work pays off.
Awards and recognition was later given to those who impacted his life and career achievements while the highlights of the event are documentaries, drama and musical acts as well appreciation messages from monarchs, broadcasters and captains of industry among others.
