The Governor Dapo Abiodun-led administration has been lauded for fast-tracking the infrastructural development of Yewaland and the Ogun West Senatorial district at large.
The Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle gave the commendation on Tuesday at the commissioning of the reconstructed 3.12 kilometre Oke Erinja-Ilobi road in the Yewa South local government.
The monarch who described the number of infrastructure recorded in Yewaland under the current administration as unprecedented, said there has been a significant improvement in the area in the last six years.
Also in their goodwill messages, the Olobi of Ilobi, Oba Soliu Ajibade and the Elerinja of Erinja, Oba Alani Egunjobi thanked the governor for reconstructing the road which according to them has improved the socio-economic activities of the two towns with the cost of transportation reducing by 50 per cent while agricultural productivity has received a boost since Its completion.
Appreciating governor Abiodun on behalf of the Erinja and Ilobi residents, Prince Rotimi Olaleye expressed delight that the commissioned road has started facilitating major development in the town’s, saying the governor has indeed put smiles on the faces of the residents.
