The Ogun State Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Comrade Sanyaolu Adebayo, has denounced the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) in the state, labeling it an illegal entity without recognition from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Comrade Adebayo also accused Otunba Femi Sholuade, the self-proclaimed chairman of CUPP, of impersonation, stating that Otunba Sholuade is not the Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), as he claims.
According to him, IPAC is the only lawful coalition of registered political parties in Ogun State, noting that any group outside IPAC is operating illegally.
He clarified that CUPP is not recognized by INEC and has no legitimate records.
Comrade Adebayo revealed that his investigations confirmed that Otunba Sholuade is not the ADC Chairman in Ogun State, as verified through INEC records.
Comrade Adebayo expressed disappointment that CUPP, led by an alleged impersonator, would publicly make unfounded allegations.
He reiterated that IPAC remains the sole legitimate coalition of political parties in Ogun State and urged the public to disregard CUPP’s activities.
