The Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration operates an inclusive policy on housing delivery with all segments of the populace in the state taken into consideration.
The Commissioner for Housing, Jagunmolu Akande Omoniyi stated this during a facility tour of the President Muhammadu Buhari Estate in Abeokuta.
According to him, the present administration, in the last four years, has provided affordable houses to all categories of people, ranging from low to medium and high-income earners.
He noted that Ogun State is the only state that has, within the first four years of its inception, constructed over 4,000 affordable homes in all three Senatorial Districts across the state.
On his part, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the governor on the Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation (OPIC), Prince Farooq Adenugba, assured subscribers to any of the housing estate, constructed by the state government of getting the right value for their money.
A property practitioner and builder, Mr. Babatunde Denton, applauded the state government for the standard of infrastructure and facilities available at the PMB Estate.
The General Secretary of the Real Estate Developers’ Association of Nigeria, Ogun State chapter, Mr. Ojikutu Olusola, commended the state government for ensuring that quality materials were used in the construction of the buildings, noting that with the government’s involvement in the projects, buyers would have peace of mind after purchasing the property.
