The Ogun State governor, Prince dapo Abiodun, has assured the residents of Atan-Agbara-Lusada in Ado-odo local government that the ongoing road reconstruction in the area will be completed in two months’ time
Governor Abiodun gave the assurance this thursday during the inspection of the twenty kilometres Agbara-Atan-Lusada road
Prince Abiodun who expressed satisfaction over the quality of job done so far informed that the contractor has been directed to complete the dual carriage way from Lagos-Badagry expressway in Agbara to the entrance of the industrial estate at OPIC so that trucks and trailers coming from Apapa seaport can have free access to the industrial estate in order to increase productivity and enhance their operations
The governor explained that the road reconstruction is infulfilment of his promise to the people of the area and members of the manufacturers’ associations, MAN, during his visit to the area
Acknowledging the importance of the local government to the state’s economy being the industrial hub of the nation, Mr governor noted that the deplorable condition of the road in the past has discouraged many companies to relocate from agbara industrial estate to other parts of the nation including the neighbouring countries
The first citizen of the gateway state while thanking the residents for their support to his administration urged them to disregard the false information being spread recently about his government promising that his administration would continue to be focused in providing necessary infrastructural amenities that will make life better for the people of the state
