The Deputy Governor, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele has described the late grand Chief Imam of Ota-Awori kingdom, Sheikh Bukhari Aina Aladi who passed on last Monday as a religious father with sterling qualities.
Speaking at a supplication gathering for the deceased cleric held in Ota.this Sunday, the deputy governor noted that Sheikh Aina Aladi was not just a religious leader but a promoter of peace and unity among all, especially the muslim community.
According to her, the late grand Chief Imam of Ota-Awori made indelible mark in the lives of all and sundry,adding that his life and times are worth celebrating.
Engineer Salako-Oyedele prayed for Allah’s protection for the family of the deceased clergyman as well as the league of Imams across the state.
In a sermon, Treasurer, state League of Imams, Sheikh Abdulganiu Ejalonibu called on muslims to serve Allah faithfully and embrace good deeds as death is inevitable,saying the late Chief Imam served God and humanity passionately.#
