    The Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun says that Nigeria is on the verge of recovering from its economic challenges as the result of prayers offered by Nigerians during the Lent and Ramadan period is already manifesting in the country

    Prince Abiodun made the remark this midweek while playing host to League of Imams and alfas in the state to commemorate this year eid-fitri celebration held at his Iperu-remo residence in Ikenne Local Government Area,

    Mr governor noted that the country’s challenges are surmountable but needed all hands to be on dec noting that the current policies and programmes of President Bola Tinubu’s administration are yielding positive results as the economy is gradually taking shape.

    Describing ramadan as a period to seek forgiveness and be kind to fellow humans, the state helmsman harped on the need for Nigerians to always be good to one another and uphold religious harmony.

    The first citizen of the gateway state while urging the people to live a life of impact by giving freely to the less privileged as widely practised during the holy month congratulated the Muslims for the successful completion of the 30 days fast,which according to him is a spiritual exercise that is beneficial to both individuals and the nation.

    The highlight of the event attended by dignitaries including state cabinet members, government functionaries, traditional rulers and members of the public was the continuation of the ongoing distribution of palliatives to the people of the state
