GOVERNOR ABIODUN WANTS ETHNIC NATIONALITIES IN THE STATE TO LIVE IN PEACE.

Gov Dapo Abiodun has called on people of different ethnic nationalities in the state to continue to live in peace and harmony for the continued progress and prosperity of the state.

Gov Abiodun made the call on Thursday while meeting with leaders of the ethnic groups in the state at the Presidential Lodge, Ibara, GRA.

The Governor while appreciating the different ethnic groups of non indigenes for their support to his administration assured of continued provision of dividends of democracy to all residents of the state.

The number one citizen of the state then announced the engagement of 500 persons from all the non indigene groups in the state as social investment workers, promising to empower them in all the 20 local governments of the state.

The leader of the non indigene group in the state Barrister Ikaino Gabriel thanked the Governor for involving the group in all government activities.

The leader of the Igbo community Igwe J.J Okocha assured Mr Governor for the support of his community come March 11 governorship election.

Also, the head of the Fulani and Arewa communities also voiced their support for Gov Dapo Abiodun as they had done for the President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
