It was a gathering of who is who in the Broadcast industry and joyful induction of throroubred Broadcasters who fulfilled the membership obligations as they formed the pioneer Inductees into the Society of Nigerian Broadcasters.

Society of Nigerian Broadcasters is a new professional body, whose aim is to give the Nigeria Broadcasters a distinct identity and a strive towards professionalism and excellence in the practice of the profession.

The induction ceremony, which was held simultaneously in Abuja and Lagos were an assemblage of the rave of the moment in Broadcasting as it featured the forebears, Including Engineer Vincent Maduka, Engineer Shyngle Wigwe, Ambassador Yemi Farounbi, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Mohammed Ibrahim, Professor Tonnie Iredia among others.

Among current media managers inducted is the General Manager of the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, OGBC, Mrs. Toyin Sogbesan, Veteran Broadcasters, Olutayo Ambrose Somide,Kenny Ogungbe,Assistant General Manager, Marketing of OGBC, Niyi Amusan, Seyi Oladimeji of the Ogun State Ministry of Information among others.

The Executive Secretary of the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria,Dr Yemis Bamgbose, a thoroughbred professional and a major driver of the cause in a statement appreciated notable Broadcast media organisations in Nigeria for providing the platforms for live transmission of the induction in Lagos and Abuja respectively.

He said ” Our sincere appreciation goes to OGBC, OSBC, LTV, Radio Lagos/ Eko FM, Abuja Broadcasting Organisation, Silverbird Television,Arise TV, Daar Communication, Arise FM among others.
