Governor Abiodun gave the assurance this Tuesday at Itori Day celebration held at itori in EwekoroLocalGovernment Area
Emphasing that the celebration of cultural festivals is a marriage between cultural development and community development, mr governor said that the celebration would continue to be a rallying point for all sons and daughters of the community promising that his administration will continue to do everything to support the sustainance of the Itori Day celebration and other cultural heritage across the state
The state helmsman who commended the monarch for embracing the philosophy of self help and self reliance for the development of his community, maintained that the current administration would not relent in support the town and it’s monarch.
He however, called on the people of the town to get their permanent voter card, PVC, warning that as the 2023 general elections draws closer, his administration would not tolerate any form of cultism and thuggery.
The Olutori of Itori, Oba Akorede Akamo in a remark commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his developmental projects across the state , promising that the Progressives monarchs are fully in support of his second term ambition.
